Sadesh is the founding director of Total Mums. He decided to start Total Mums when his wife was pregnant with their second child. He knew the physical demands pregnancy placed on the body but when he did a search, nobody was offering much in the way of pregnancy physiotherapy. He sat down with Renee who had just completed her Masters and they brainstormed and came up with the idea of Total Mums. In 2010 Total Mums went live and Sadesh now proudly calls it his third baby.
Sadesh trained as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and graduated in 1994 from Auckland. He is passionate about treating pregnancy related pain and enjoys looking at and finding solutions for movement disorders, which can then make pregnancy more enjoyable again. Sadesh is also available for pregnancy and post pregnancy massage.
Outside of physiotherapy, Sadesh enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, coaches his son’s cricket and soccer teams, regularly runs and goes to the gym, plays 7 a-side soccer weekly, and this allows him to enjoy good food, wine and indulge in movies.
